Topic: Urban Sprawl --- Open Space Preservation Workshop

Subject: Friends of Patrick Eagan Park and The Sierra Club

Mark your calendars! This workshop will be fun, it's free and close to home.

Join other members of Friends of Patrick Eagan Park as well as members of
the Sierra Club to learn how to organize to preserve the Eagan Core Greenway.

When: Saturday, May 17th, from 10:00 to 1:00
Where: United Methodist Church, 3945 Lexington Avenue South, Eagan
(just north of the Eagan Art House and the entrance to Patrick Eagan Park)
Why: To help educate the community about the importance of Open Space, and specifically
preserving the Eagan Core Greenway---steps thus far and remaining challenges.

Focus:

  • Learn about our local planning process
  • Learn the tools we can use in Eagan to preserve our Open Space
  • Meet leaders active in our area
  • Get further involved in our community
  • Help preserve remaining critical pieces of the Eagan Core Greenway

Schedule of Activities:

10:00-1:00 Workshop
1:00-1:30 Lunch
2:00- Guided Nature Hike through the Greenway
