"Friends" Thanks Eagan's Parks Director Vraa

Mr. Ken Vraa
City of Eagan
Parks and Recreation Department
3830 Pilot Knob Road
Eagan, Minnesota 55122

Dear Ken,

Friends of the Eagan Core Greenway would like to express our gratitude to you for a job well done. With your determination, values and skills, you have made Eagan a better place to live.

Eagan had less than 300 acres of park property and 9 active parks when you began your career with our parks department. Thanks to your leadership, Eagan today has 1,350 acres of park land and 57 active parks. These results, produced by your 24-year commitment to the city, clearly paint a picture of a vibrant parks department able to meet the changing needs of a growing community.

Your vision as well as patient determination helped to make Eagan the green city it is today. Friends of the Eagan Core Greenway extend our appreciation to you for your service to the community. We wish you the best in all your future endeavors.

And we also look forward to collaborating with you on local green space projects that remain important to us both.

Sincerely,

David Brunet and Laura Hedlund
on behalf of all Friends of the Eagan Core Greenway
